A night of musical diversity on the mountain
The word of the night was diversity.
More than 400 musicians, including opera singers, a synagogue choir, throat singers and French- and English-language musicians, graced the bandstand set up at the foot of Mount Royal Saturday night, just steps away from the Mordecai Richler gazebo. According to Radio-Canada, about 60,000 people attended the performance.
