'A different direction': Montreal Alouettes fire head coach Jacques Chapdelaine

In a stunning turn of events, the Montreal Alouettes have fired head coach Jacques Chapdelaine and their defensive co-ordinator, Noel Thorpe.
Chapdelaine confirmed his dismissal in a text message to the Montreal Gazette Wednesday morning.
“I’m at home right now. I’ve been told they were going in a different direction,” Chapdelaine said. “You probably will get more info from the general manager.
