9 arrested as police target cannabis network in Montreal area

Nine people have been arrested after a series of overnight raids by police in Longueuil, St-Hubert and Montreal.The operation is aimed at dismantling a drug trafficking network that primarily trades in cannabis, according to the Service de police de l’agglomération de Longueuil.The raids began around 4:30 a.m. and the operation, which involves Longueuil police, Montreal police and the Régie intermunicipale de police Richelieu St-Laurent, continued later in the
