87 per cent of Quebecers with kidney disease don't know it

More than 550,000 Quebecers are living with kidney disease, but 475,000 of them don’t know it.
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is holding Kidney Walks across Quebec starting on Sunday. More than 4,000 people are expected to take part in 22 towns and cities from now until June 16, with a fundraising goal of $580,000.
The Kidney Walks raise funds for research into new treatments as well as for services to improve the daily lives of people with kidney disease.
