100 firefighters deployed to Brossard hotel fire

The Econo Lodge Motel on Taschereau Blvd. in Brossard was the site of a four-alarm fire early Wednesday.
Broadcast images of the site show flames erupting from the building’s roof while a pall of smoke visible in east end Montreal covered the site of the blaze. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Longueuil fire dept. director Jean-Guy Ranger said at 7:45 a.m. that the two-storey building had been evacuated and the fire was under control.
About 100 firefighters had been deployed at
