Winnipeggers support police drug crackdown, survey suggests
In a survey done by Abacus Data for CBC News ahead of the Oct. 28 civic election, 70 per cent of respondents said they supported the Winnipeg Police Service's initial 10-day crackdown on open drug use and sales. Additionally, 57 per cent said they support a mix of enhanced enforcement and greater access to treatment and services.
