Winnipeg non-profit powers downtown space with solar panels

The non-profit BUILD is now powering its space at the Social Enterprise Centre on Main Street in Winnipeg with solar panels on the roof. BUILD, which stands for Building Urban Industries for Local Development, offers training and job opportunities for people facing systemic barriers, and the money saved on utilities will be used to hire more people.
