Resilient London fighter accepts short-notice bout at UFC 231

Five years after a disappointing three-fight run left him on the outside of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), a London fighter is taking a rare second chance at redemption.
Jesse Ronson, who fights out of London’s Adrenaline MMA Training and Fitness Center, has agreed to replace the injured John Makdessi in a lightweight bout at UFC 231 Saturday in Toronto.
