Downtown retailer giving back, one dress at a time

Clouds of tulle and lace are a girl’s dream dress for events like the prom.
But at an average price of $500 for the dress alone, making that dream come true can be a struggle. Four years ago, Veronica Hosszu decided to become fairy godmother to send more girls to the ball.
Through her downtown store, Elizabeth Noel, she launched the Princess Project to provide the entire experience — a one-on-one private appointment to fit the perfect dress, and hair and makeup done next door at Nova
