Covent Garden opens outdoor market for Easter

Much like Easter, the outdoor farmers’ market at Covent Garden is a sure sign of spring.
The season kicks off Saturday in Market Square with about 20 vendors offering locally grown, produced, and farmed goods.
“We’ve been doing the Easter market for a long time,” said Paige Postma, farmers’ market manager. “It’s quite a tradition. It’s exciting to bring the first crop to market at a time when people gather to feast.”
