University of Lethbridge students feeling effects of provincial budget

LETHBRIDGE – University of Lethbridge students are bracing for the impacts of the new provincial budget. The province is set to increase interest rates on student loans, the cap on tuition comes off Jan. 1, 2020, campus Alberta grant funding is down 3.2 per cent and the STEP program is being eliminated.
