Two dead following shooting in northeast Calgary

Police are investigating a shooting in the city’s northeast that resulted in the death of two men on Wednesday morning. Emergency crews were called to a parking lot in the 2400 block of 37 Avenue N.E. at about 2:15 a.m. for reports of shots fired. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the other man succumbed to his injuries in hospital. Police have tarped off a vehicle at the scene and say the attack was not random.
