Trudeau looking to recall Parliament once again to consider expanded COVID-19 aid

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he has asked the government house leader and deputy prime minister to reach out to the opposition parties about bringing back Parliament once again, to consider the expansions being made to COVID-19 financial aid. Updating Canadians on the federal government’s response plan to the pandemic, Trudeau clarified that starting April 6 Canadians can apply for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit, but if they are set to get the new 75 per cent wage subsidy, the
