Thermal solar plant shuttered in 'The City With Energy'

A $13-million solar investment in Medicine Hat has been taken offline after only four full years of operation. Opened in 2014, the plant used concentrated solar thermal (CST) technology to heat liquid through panels, sending steam to a main power plant.
