Teen dead following northeast hit-and-run

An early morning crash in the city's northeast has left one teen dead and sent two minors to hospital. One of the drivers involved fled before the arrival of police. The fatal hit-and-run took place at around 2:30 a.m. on 52nd Street N.E. at the 16th Avenue interchange. The collision caused one car to flip. A teenage male who had been in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other teens who had been in the vehicle were transported by ambulance to the Alberta Children's Hospital. Police h
