Road closures in effect for Calgary Marathon

Several roads are closed for the Calgary Marathon on Sunday morning. The race route will take runners through many Calgary communities including downtown, East Village, Bridgeland Riverside, Inglewood, Bowness and Montgomery. Some of the roads affected around the city include parts of Memorial Drive, 11 Avenue S.W., Riverfront Avenue, 1 Avenue N.E. and Bowness Road.The Servus Credit Union Calgary Marathon is Sunday, May 26 and there will be multiple road closures downtown and in the northwest@Ca
