Recovery home for Indigenous women opens in Calgary

A partnership between Oxford House and Poundmaker’s Lodge treatment centres has blossomed a new beginning for Indigenous women seeking help to recover from trauma or addictions. "It’s the first of its kind, so it's going to be a learning process for everybody," said Earl Thiessen, executive director of Oxford House.
