Northbound QEII shut down at Carstairs overpass due to jackknifed semi

CALGARY — Northbound Highway 2 is shut down at the Carstairs overpass after a tractor-trailer jackknifed Wednesday morning. Traffic is being detoured to the off-ramp. Emergency officials say the road is extremely icy and motorists are advised to slow down and drive with caution. Carstairs is about 65 kilometres north of Calgary.
