Northbound Deerfoot Trail shut down due to crash

Emergency crews are at the scene of a crash on Deerfoot Trail that's shut down the northbound lanes of the highway near 16 Avenue N.E. Officials say the crash took place at about 6:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway. As of 7:30 a.m., police shut down a section of Deerfoot Trail for the collision.
