Man steals, then ditches truck with 2 young children inside in Beaumont

Investigators are searching for a man who stole a truck with two children still inside in Beaumont, then abandoned the vehicle as police gave chase. The theft occurred the morning of Sunday, Dec. 29. Officers received a 911 call that a truck parked and idling on 60 Street was stolen with two children, ages 7 and 9, still inside.
