LRT station closed for police investigation

Calgary police shut down an LRT platform Monday morning for an investigation. There is no confirmation about what took place or when, but officers blocked off the scene at Eighth Street and Seventh Avenue S.W. and trains were not stopping at the station as of 6:30 a.m.An ambulance was seen driving away from the scene earlier in the morning. Police have also been seen combing the area for evidence.
