Crews contain fire at home in Sandstone Valley

Calgary fire crews were called to a blaze at a home in the city’s northwest on Tuesday morning. Emergency crews responded to a home in the 300 block of Sandstone Dr. N.W at about 5:30 a.m. after a neighbour called 911. The home has damage to the roof and a nearby residence also sustained some damage. Crews have the fire under control. No one was home at the time and the cause is under investigation.
