Construction on west section of ring road expected to start in spring

Transportation Minister Brian Mason was in Calgary on Tuesday to provide an update on the west section of the ring road and construction is slated to begin in the spring. It's been ten years since the first stretch of the Calgary Ring Road opened and the southwest section is expected to open in the fall of 2021 and the west segment is scheduled to open in 2022.
