City to update on COVID-19 in Calgary at 1 p.m.

Calgary Emergency Management Chief Tom Sampson and Mayor Naheed Nenshi are scheduled to give an update on the city's response to COVID-19 at 1 p.m. Friday. As of Thursday afternoon, there have been 968 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Alberta and 13 deaths have been reported as a result of complications.
