CEMA to update COVID-19 response in Calgary at 1 p.m.

Calgary Emergency Management Chief Tom Sampson and Mayor Naheed Nenshi are scheduled to give an update on COVID-19 in the city at 1 p.m. The city has been in a state of local emergency since mid-March because of the worldwide pandemic. As a result, all city-run facilities have been shut and Calgarians are being asked to remain home whenever possible.
