Calgary Zone being hit hard by coronavirus after 128 new cases confirmed
The Calgary Zone is continuing to lead the way in terms of COVID-19 cases in Alberta and Tuesday's update had especially bad news for the region. Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's chief medical officer of health, announced 138 new cases of the illness in the province, with the "vast majority" of those in the Calgary Zone.
