Alcohol a suspected factor in fatal 16 Ave Northeast crash

CALGARY – One man is dead following an early morning crash on 16th Avenue Northeast and police believe alcohol was a factor in the fatal collision. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of 16th Ave and Russet Road/Moncton Road, west of Deerfoot Trail, shortly before 1 a.m. after an eastbound vehicle left the road and crashed into a fence. A man who had been a passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene. The injuries to the other occupants of the vehicle have not been co
