Yellow-level warning in effect, snow squalls

Environment Canada issued a yellow-level warning for snow squalls across the region Sunday. Yellow is the lowest of a three-color-coded warning system the weather agency has adopted this year. Each colour indicates the strength and severity of the storms hitting our area, with orange as the second level and red as the first and highest level warning.
