Winter storm leads to collisions and highway closure

A portion of the west bound lanes of the 401 in Trenton have been closed Tuesday following several collisions in the area between Glen Miller Rd. and Wallbridge Loyalist Road. As of 10:14 a.m. an emergency detour route had been activated. According to the Ontario Provincial Police, a warming centre has been made available at the Trenton Arena for stranded motorists, located at 8 Couch Cres. for safety reasons.
