Freedom's work remains unfinished: a call for change at Kingston’s Emancipation Day ceremony

The abolition of slavery was not the end of the struggle for freedom, but the beginning of a continuing fight against racism, inequality and exclusion, speakers told a crowd gathered Saturday for Kingston’s annual Emancipation Day ceremony.Addressing residents at Confederation Park, City of Kingston director of communications and customer experience J.C.
