Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for Hamilton, Niagara

A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Hamilton and Niagara Thursday afternoon, with strong winds and heavy rain expected in the forecast. Many other areas of southern Ontario, from Windsor to St. Catherines and from Markham to east of Brockville, were also under a severe thunderstorm watch.
