Plug pulled on Ford government's giant ferris wheel planned for Niagara Falls, Ont.

The controversial plan for a giant observation wheel in historic Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls, Ont., is now dead and buried, with the Niagara Parks Commission announcing it's cancelled a request for public sector proposals to build the attraction.
