Sudbury driver clocked going double the speed limit on Highway 69

A Sudbury driver is facing stunt driving charges after being stopped for travelling more than double the posted speed limit on Highway 69, according to the OPP.On June 14, at about 3 p.m., officers stopped a driver going 163 kilometres per hour in a posted 80 km/h construction zone.As a result, police charged the driver, 53, with stunt driving – excessive speed.The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Provincial Offences Court in Sudbury on Sept. 1.The driver
