Simple traffic violation results in serious charges for Manitoulin man

Failing to yield has led to a host of weapons and driving charges against a Manitoulin Island man.The Manitoulin OPP said an officer stopped the accused on Aug. 7 at around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 6 in Sheguiandah “when they observed a vehicle fail to yield.”While speaking with the driver, the officer detected an odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle.
