Second dust incident in Falconbridge didn't come from us, Glencore says

The dust that descended on Falconbridge in October likely did not come from Glencore’s smelter located in the community, the company says. Instead, Glencore’s Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations said in a letter to Falconbridge residents, the dust likely came from other activities in the area at the time. “The source of a small cluster of dust complaints from October 30, 2025, was investigated and determined unlikely to be from operations at the smelter,” said the letter
