Pedestrian killed in Manitoulin collision

Police are welcoming tips regarding a collision Tuesday on Manitoulin Island that resulted in the death of a pedestrian.
The incident occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Wikwemikong Way, in the village of Wikwemikong, according to a release from the OPP.
Joseph Thomas Neshkewe, 67, from Wikwemikong, was taken to hospital, where he later died.
A post-mortem examination was conducted Thursday in Sudbury.
