A New Sudbury man is looking at a penitentiary sentence of up to eight years for his attack that almost killed an elderly neighbour last year. At his sentencing hearing at the Sudbury Courthouse, Grant Sharpe, 24, who had his head lowered in the prisoner’s box throughout the two-hour hearing, heard that the Crown wants an eight-year sentence for the assault.
