Police have arrested a man with a history of addiction who was allegedly drunk and setting off fireworks close to people at an Elliot Lake beach on Canada Day.The East Algoma OPP said they were called to Spruce Beach at around 10:20 p.m. on July 1.Officers were told “a male (was) setting off fireworks close to people who were there to watch the Canada Day fireworks over the water.
