Lack of Punjabi interpreter delays Sudbury murder trial
An effort by a Sudbury man to withdraw his plea of guilty in his wife’s murder more than three years ago has been delayed. A Punjabi interpreter failed to show up on Friday in Sudbury court to assist the accused, Hatinder Sharma. As a result, the case was adjourned to a tentative date of Dec. 19.
