Homeless Sudbury man stole to survive, not feed addiction: Judge   

From last November to July, Shane Lemaire was a busy shoplifter. He stole more than $3,000 worth of alcohol, high-end clothing, and shoes from five stores. Lemaire was homeless at the time and had been living on the streets for close to three years. The thefts were not the result of addiction, but merely an attempt to survive.
