Heat warning issued for the Sudbury area as temperatures climb

A stretch of hot and humid weather is prompting Environment and Climate Change Canada to issue a heat warning for the Sudbury area, with temperatures expected to remain elevated for several days.The warning comes into effect June 29 and applies to multiple communities within Public Health Sudbury and Districts’ service area, including Greater Sudbury, Markstay-Warren, St. Charles, West Nipissing and French River, as well as Gogama, Foleyet, Chapleau, and Missinaibi Lake.Environment Canada
