Extendicare York workers say they want a new contract now

Unionized workers at Extendicare York in Sudbury took to the streets on Tuesday in an effort to speed up contract negotiations.CUPE 1182 , one of 8 CUPE locals participating in the Extendicare Central Table bargaining, said it is frustrated by what it calls ongoing delays in reaching a new agreement.Talks have been stalled since June 29, the union said.
