Drinking Sudbury driver fights with other driver after crash

A Sudbury man involved in a two-vehicle collision last fall who then fought with the other driver has pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of careless driving.Edward Beland, 56, entered the guilty plea in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury.He had been charged with impaired driving.Justice Pierre Bradley, accepting a joint sentencing submission, issued a $1,000 fine and 15-month probation order. The order includes the conditions that Beland complete the province’s Back on Track program
