City declares fire ban for Greater Sudbury

Due to high temperatures and dry conditions, the City of Greater Sudbury has declared an open-air fire ban, effective immediately as of July 14.As a result, all open-air fires, including campfires, chiminea fireplaces, crop residue fires, fireworks and any other type of outdoor burning, are prohibited, the cit said.
