Bridge dedication ceremony to honour fallen Manitoulin OPP officer

Ontario Provincial Police will honour an OPP officer killed in the line of duty on Manitoulin Island almost six years ago.Police will hold a bridge dedication ceremony in memory of Const. Marc Hovingh on Friday. Hovingh, 52, died in the line of duty on Nov. 19, 2020.The event will be held at the Manitoulin Hotel and Conference Centre in Little Current.Ontario names provincial highway bridges and structures after police officers who died in the line of duty through the H ighway Memorials for Fal
