Tracadie — Man sentenced to 16 months in jail for possessing and making available images of child sexual abuse

A 26-year-old man from Tracadie, N.B., has been sentenced to 16 months in jail for possession of child pornography and making available child pornography.
Frederick Basque was arrested and charged in connection with an investigation by the New Brunswick RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit that resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a home in Tracadie in November 2016.
