Trial begins for man accused in VLT robbery case

In August 2010, Jerzy Michalak was enjoying a Saturday night at the Silver Martini bar in west Edmonton. He was winning big on a VLT, buying drinks for other players. But when he went outside for a smoke, he was viciously attacked and robbed. At age 55, he was left permanently brain damaged.
