Swimming phenom from northern Alberta is 'rewriting the record books'

Grande Prairie's 18 year-old Oliver Dawson was named the city's parade marshal for Canada Day 2026 for his feats in the swimming pool. Dawson has broken two Canadian breaststroke speed records so far, and he doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
