Sickle cell disease gets support in Edmonton

Ufuoma Muwhen suffered from sickle cell disease as a child, describing the sensation as “somebody hammering on your bones.” It is a blood condition prominent in sub-Sarahan Africa. Muwhen spoke to CBC’s Tara McCarthy about her experiences and how she founded her local support group.
