Kikinow Elders Lodge offers cultural living experience for elders in Grande Cache

Kikinow Elders Lodge in Grande Cache is officially open after six years. A huge barrier initially was funding, but the non-status, off-reserve Indigenous community ended up securing a federal grant, despite not being officially recognized as Indigenous under the Indian Act.
